Important things to remember for Zanskar Leh Expedition
● The trip will start only after the payment of the full amount. Make sure you make all the arrangements beforehand.
● In an exceptional case, if the mentioned Camps/Hotel/Homestay is not available, we may shift you to another similar hotel.
● Check-in/check-out time at all the properties will be at 1200 hrs (Noon). Some properties may not allow early check-In.
● Food Service will be available from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
● You will get hot water in showers for a few hours in the morning. Kindly ask the receptionist about the times in advance.
● Room heaters are available at the hotel for an extra cost.
● Triple Sharing does not necessarily mean Three Separate Beds. It can have one double bed and one rollaway bed.
● The vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary, any additional sightseeing not mentioned in the Itinerary will be charged extra.
● No refund or compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
● Visits to museums/parks/monasteries/forts in the tour are subject to their opening on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.
● We will not bear any cost for flights cancelled or delayed due to any reason.
● There will be no compensation if you are delayed due to roadblocks, natural calamities or personal reasons. The alternate accommodation cost due to the same should be borne by you.
● No changes in the date of the tour once booked. However, you can postpone the tour if it gets cancelled due to circumstances like natural calamities, government restrictions, pandemics, riots or war.
● Rates are subject to change until you haven’t paid the full amount.
● Room allotment will be as per the availability at the time of check-in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
● All expenses which are not included in the cost of the package shall be paid directly at the time of checkout.
● You are advised to take insurance before starting the tour.

Cancellation Policy
In case of unforeseen events or government restrictions, the tour may be cancelled and in such cases, you can reschedule your dates. However, no refund will be provided in any condition.
● 30 days or more: 90% of the total package cost is refundable
● 21-30 days: 75% of the total package cost is refundable
● 11-20 days: 50% of the total package cost is refundable
● Less than 10 days: No refund
● The booking amount (30% of the package amount) is non-refundable. However, you can adjust this amount with any other tour, trek or activity offered post-booking date.

Day 1
Stay in Manali
After reaching Manali, you will check in to the hotel.
After freshening up you will visit local places like Mall Road, Old Manali, Clubhouse, Hadimba Temple, Dhungri van vihar.

Day 2
Manali to Jispa
After breakfast, we will leave for Jispa.
Upon arrival at Jispa, check in to the hotel and gear up to explore the beautiful valley, perched on the banks of river Bhaga with stunning views surrounding the mountains.

Day 3
Jispa to Purne
Today, we start our expedition from Jispa to Purne, a beautiful village without worldly landscapes by the banks of Tsarap River.
Crossing a high altitude pass of Shinkula at a staggering 16580 ft, this pass marks a higher altitude in comparison to that of Baralacha La, Lachalung La. You will also witness one of the most beautiful mountains known as ‘Gumbok Rangan’ standing there and welcoming you, making it one of the most beautiful sights that you have ever seen.
This drive from Jispa to Purne is sure to leave you stunned with unbelievable views.

Day 4
Trek to Phugtal
Today, after a wholesome breakfast, we begin our trek towards Phugtal. Also known as Phuktal Monastery, is one of the most enchanting sights to come across in this entire region.
Located in the remote Lungnak Valley, this place is believed to be a place of liberation for the most dedicated followers of Buddha. Arhats, Guru Padmasambhava to name a few. By the end of your trek surrounding this Cave Monastery, you will be left with nothing but peace and solitude, lost in the beauty of nature. We head back to Purne for an overnight stay and rest, after an enchanting trekking experience.

Day 5
Purne to Padum
After breakfast today, we will be headed towards Padum, driving towards Karsha Monastery. This Monastery is believed to be the largest and the most important monastery in the Zanskar region. We will proceed to Zangla which marks the main point for major treks in Zanskar. This place also nests an old castle that is almost in ruins. After which, we will head to Stongdey Monastery which is the second-largest monument in the Zanskar Valley and sing a song of history with the Tibetian Yogi and Marpas.
Once we have witnessed this beauty, depending upon the time in hand, we shall head towards Sheela village waterfall and end the day with a peaceful night at Padum.

Day 6
Padum to Lamayuru
We start our day from Padum to Lamayuru where a beautiful Monastery stands, waiting for us to come to witness its beauty.
The Drikung history states that the Indian scholar Naropa (956-1041 CE) allegedly caused a lake which filled the valley to dry up and founded Lamayuru Monastery. Sitting between the Indus valley and the main crest of the Indian Himalayas, Lamayuru has the most incredible remote mountain passes that will leave you spellbound with spectacular fortified locations, high rocky ridges and isolated valleys. After an adventurous expedition, we rest in the lap of Lamayuru for the night.

Day 7
Lamayuru to Leh
After breakfast, today will be the day to head to Leh. The roads in this path are newly built and are sure to be awed taking a drive through this path called ‘the untraceable road’, making the drive breathtaking ever more adventurous. Once we reach Leh, we are free to do some local exploring visiting the Leh Palace perched atop the deserted Namgyal hill, Shanti Stupa and some sightseeing towards the marketplace indulging in the culture and vibes this place has to offer you.

Day 8
Leh to Nubra Valley
Today, we will ride past the second-highest accessible motorable pass in the world KhardunglaLa at 18,380 ft. Upon arrival, we visit Diskit monastery – the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in Nubra valley. Later we visit Hunder sand dunes, the only place in India where double humped camels are found.

Day 9
Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
We begin our ride towards the Pangong Tso post-breakfast taking the unexplored Shyok village route. Afternoon we reach Pangong Lake and enjoy our day at Pangong Lake.

Day 10
Pangong Lake to Hanle
After early breakfast, we will start our journey to Hanle via Tangtse. After reaching Hanle, we will visit the Indian Astronomical Observatory and Hanle Monastery.

Day 11
Hanle to Leh
After early breakfast, we breathe in the beautiful view of the majestic Pangong Lake as we ride back towards leh.

Day 12
Leh to Sarchu
After breakfast, begin your ride towards Sarchu which will make your journey filled with adventure and fun. En route, we will visit Tso Kar Lake and we also cross Naki la (15,647 ft,) and Lachung la (16,616 ft ) and across the famous More plains and Gata Loops.

Sarchu to Manali
